Less Than 10 Weeks

As of today it's nine weeks till the Princess is supposed to arrive. She came with me on a trip to Miami last week. She particularly enjoyed the plane ride. I flew about two months ago and the main difference is that she now has her own gravity. When we landed I could feel her move forward in my stomach and pressing against the back of belly button. Very strange feeling.

The crib and the dresser arrives on Friday. I think that will be the next point that Matt and I realize that this is definitely happening. We also have the tour of the labor and delivery unit tomorrow. All I can say about the childbirth classes is that more of this should be covered in high school sex ed. I think if the words episiotomy, forceps, and vaginal tearing were said in that class the teen sex rate would go down dramatically. Also, there should be a part of the class where the ladies get to leave (probably to go to the restroom) and the men can then ask all the questions that they may have but shouldn't ask in front of their wives. Can't you Google how common pelvis fracture in child birth is and not give a bunch of pregnant women something else to freak out about?
